Family-scl

Little steps towards independence. Beautifully made for growing minds.

Born in Latvia, Family-scl is a family-owned brand dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed Montessori-inspired furniture that helps children discover confidence, independence and the joy of doing things for themselves.

Since 2017, Family-scl has been handcrafting beautiful, practical furniture that brings together traditional craftsmanship, child-centred design and everyday functionality.

From versatile learning towers and little step stools to climbing triangles, children's tables and beautifully considered bedroom furniture, each piece is designed to encourage curiosity, support development and invite little ones to take part in everyday family life.

Rooted in Montessori principles, Family-scl believes that children thrive when given the freedom to explore, learn and grow at their own pace. Every design reflects a thoughtful balance of quality, practicality and timeless style, creating furniture that feels just as at home in the family kitchen as it does in a child's playroom.

At Home & Sprout, we love Family-scl for its commitment to nurturing independence, celebrating the little milestones and creating meaningful opportunities for children to learn through everyday experiences.

Guided by four simple values — Family, Support, Care and Love — Family-scl brings warmth and purpose to every piece.

Made with love. Designed for independence. Created for little milestones.
